It is comfortable to wear and perfect for Spring, with our signature, two yarn, Broken Seed Stitch pattern, giving additional warmth due to the extra insulation it creates.

This fusion of Fair Isle and Moss Stitch was the inspiration of Susan Anderson of the Scottish Journal of Yarns. We have named this colour combination March Sky, after the clear mornings this month sometimes brings, with a slight hint of warmth in the air.
We really hope that you enjoy knitting the first creation in our balmerino garment range. It is knitted in individual parts then seamed together with both fronts overlapping around the neckline.
